Taste of Duneland  highlighted the many cuisines of local eateries

in the Duneland area -  Lucrezia's Cafe,  Wagner's,  Popolano's, Millwright's Daughter,  El Salto's,  Taj Indian Bistro,

Giggles Pizza,  and   Third Coast Spice Café. 

The Chesterton Lions Club served their popular potato sausage with sauerkraut, hot dogs & hamburgers, and yummy corn on the cob dipped in butter.  Offering up their delicious specialties were Gelatto Fun, L.U.L.A.C., and  The Frozen Rainbow Italian Ice.   

Butler Winery had wine tasting, and Regal Rabbit had cheese sampling.  Residents and visitors alike relaxed in the beer & wine garden and enjoyed the music of local band, Voodoo Chili.  Kids enjoyed the balloon-making clown, played games, and bounced to their hearts delight in several bouncy houses.  Bids were placed in the silent auction on valuable products and gift certificates                                                                                                       from local businesses, and tickets were sold for the Great Gift Basket Raffle,  

                     August 30, 2008                     valued at $510 and included multiple gift certificates and a one night stay at

                                                                                  the  Gray Goose Inn.
